clematis-ibi
Clematis Ibi
Named for the river Ibi and bred by the Sugimoto family in Japan, this sophisticated white clematis flaunts just enough pastel nuance to draw the eye. More than just a white clem, Clematis Ibi features pink and blue nuance for an eye-catching display. Ibi is a polished addition to an all-white garden. Especially charming in morning and twilight hours, Ibi's understated coloring makes its sepals appear almost backlit.
The classic form and flower of this clem allows its unique coloring to shine through. Excellent for sprawling or climbing, Ibi's habit makes it perfect for a trellis or the back of a border. Ibi is an early bloomer, sure to welcome the growing season with its graceful beauty. Its light rose and blue shading may be more vibrant if grown in partial sun, as flowers mature to white in the sun. Clematis Ibi

In our EZ Pruning Guide, this variety is in the YELLOW category.
