clematis-mermaid-little
Clematis Little Mermaid
An extravagant abundance of nicely rounded, medium-to-large flowers open deep salmon and lighten to a delightful coral pink, often with a touch of purple at the base of the sepals. The unusual color easily draws attention in the garden. Little Mermaid Clematis blooms first in late spring to early summer and again in late summer on new wood--especially if trimmed after the first bloom. It thrives best with humusy, well-drained soil with a heavy mulch. This medium-sized plant is gorgeous when trained up a trellis. Clematis 'Little Mermaid'
In our EZ Pruning Guide, this variety is in the YELLOW pruning category.
