Award Winning!
Yellow Freedom brings abundant yellow roses to the garden from late spring through fall—and gives you flowers to bring indoors, too. Its velvety, old-fashioned blooms offer classic rose appeal on a low-maintenance shrub that’s well suited to flowering hedges. Now recognized with a 2027 American Garden Rose Selections™ award, this variety has garden-trial results behind its good looks.
Choose With Confidence
Yellow Freedom earned 2027 AGRS Regional Choice honors in the Northeast, Northwest and Southwest. The program evaluates roses over two years, assessing disease resistance, bloom abundance, repeat flowering and other qualities that matter in your garden—not just in a photograph.
Enjoy Roses Beyond Spring
Yellow Freedom’s flowering season stretches from late spring into fall, giving you a long window to enjoy its sunny yellow blooms. It’s a welcome choice when you want roses to remain part of the garden’s color well beyond spring.
Make Your Hedge Part of the Flower Garden
Give a garden boundary more than greenery. Growing 4–6 feet tall, Yellow Freedom makes a colorful flowering hedge for defining outdoor spaces. Its low-maintenance habit adds practical appeal to a planting you’ll see and enjoy every day.
Bring Homegrown Roses to the Table
The 3½-inch flowers open to reveal velvety yellow petals with an old-fashioned look. Cut a few for a simple vase or add them to a mixed bouquet—the same roses that brighten your garden can brighten your home.
